"DI" stands for Digital Imaging, the term given to the technology utilised in our Heideberg SM74-DI. It represents the very best in computer-to-press technology which allows for the transfer of images from a computer directly onto a termal plate via laser heads mounted on each printing unit. This eliminates time-consuming film output and plate masking as seen in conventional printing. Imaging is done simultaneously on all printing units as well. The results? A competitive edge provided to our clients by our fast setup and changeover.
